We all know that beauty is not just skin deep, but we present to the world on the surface is important, and we can make more of our lives by making more of ourselves.

Lots of women are confused by make-up. They feel oblidged to wear it, but at the same time feel stuck in a rut, out of date, or unsure whether the make up is having the right effect. In otherwords, they are getting no benefit at all from wearing it.

Make up may not make you a ravishing beauty, but it will improve what you have got and help you to look the way you would like to be. Even small changes can create a whole new appearance. Once you know the basic techniques you can adapt these and the cosmetics to suit your own particular age, character and identity.

What you need to do firstly, is to get to know yourself, your faults and your good points. Then we know what to do to make ourself beautiful. However, anything drastic, like scars or misshapen noses, can be improved only with cosmetic surgery. In general, women have a pet hate for at least one part of their face.

Actually, everyone has the potential to be better looking. You just need to concentrate on your best points, otherwise you are letting your strengths go to waste. So, strip off all your make up, and with it all your old ideas about make up.
